As you can see the installation on the new Astro Turf is nearing completion. All the turf is now laid and all the lines have been installed so the next stage is to give the turf a vigorous brushing, this will be followed by the spreading of the fine sand and then this in turn will be followed by the spreading of the rubber base. Once the sand and the rubber are laid the goal posts and corner flags will be installed and then play can commence !! What this all means is that, weather permitting, the first players will take to the pitch in about 10 days !!
