Player Profile: Kaleem Strawbridge-Simon

Age: 22

Position: Attacking Midfielder

Despite his young age Kaleem has plenty of experience in the Airtricity League both in the Premier Division and the First Division. He joined the UCD Senior Team in 2014, having initially signed for their U19's the previous year, and made a handful of appearances for the Senior Team that year.

In 2015 he joined Longford Town and was consistently in the team playing in the majority of their league games that season and helped them to secure a sixth place finish in the Premier Division. He stayed with Longford for the 2016 season but was unable to help them avoid relegation back to the First Division. He transferred to Bohemians at the start of the 2017 season and was a constant presence in that side until he returned to Longford in July of that year.

2018 saw Kaleem join Cabinteely and made eight appearances during the season. January 2019 saw Kaleem join Athlone Town and his attacking style is quickly endearing him to the Town fans particularly after his goal in the 4-2 win over Wexford FC which brought to an end the longest win less run in the League of Ireland.
